About Us

Bemis Farms Preschool and Childcare was established in 1994 on 18 acres of farmland. A local farmer plants rotating grain crops. Each classroom has a large playground where the children can enjoy the beauty of the surrounding natural elements. Bemis Farms is proud to have been granted accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), located in Washington D.C. This means we provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of young children. Based on the HighScope Curriculum, Bemis Farms provides a complete program that focuses on active participatory learning. Staff members are professionally trained, and committed to providing personalized attention and care to each child.

Bemis Farms provides care for children 6 weeks through 12 years of age. We are open year round for all ages and provide a summer camp program with weekly field trips for children who have completed Kindergarten through 12 years of age.
