New at Still Waters: Autism Spectrum Evaluations

In addition to our Comprehensive Testing services, we are now able to offer Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) Evaluations. Children starting as early as 12 months old, who display positive symptoms can be tested for Autism. Adults who have symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorders can also obtain this evaluation.

ASD testing is being scheduled with our new provider, Rachel Reed, MS, TLLP. 

Rachel is experienced with both Comprehensive Testing and testing for Autism 

Spectrum Disorders for children and adults, and offers counseling services as well.  

Our Autism Spectrum testing services are a good fit for…

• A child between 12 months and 5 years of age who shows signs and symptoms of Autism including… 

  • Language delays

  • Sensory interests

  • Poor eye contact

  • Little interest in peers or caregivers

  • Trouble with minor changes in routines

  • Other signs that can be found here.

• A child or adult who already has an Autism diagnosis and needs re-certification

• A child or adult who has already done Comprehensive Testing and screened positive for Autism

• A child or adult who has screened positive for Autism upon evaluation by another qualified professional (physician, occupational therapist, etc.)

• Any adult who believes they have symptoms of ASD

  • These symptoms might look different from symptoms common in children.

Autism Spectrum evaluation can provide detailed information about what to expect from your child’s development, a deeper understanding about how to support your child and promote development, and access to community and school-based services that can assist you and your child.  Testing can also help your provider/s coordinate personalized services based on your needs.
