COVID Hardship Dues Grant

COVID Hardship Dues Grant

In hopes of helping with COVID relief, the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC) partnered with the Saline Post’s Telethon to start a grant fund.  The only requirement was a business had to be a member in good standing with SACC.  We are proud to announce we were graced with donations far exceeding our expectations and were able to give out over $5,000 to deserving establishments!

As the end of the year approaches, the Chamber will be adjusting their COVID Grant program as well.  On Friday, November 6, the grant applications closed down to foster in a new grant program.  Starting Monday, November 9, 2020, the SACC will begin accepting applications for hardship dues for 2021.

Now is a perfect opportunity for any business with less than 20 employees interested in membership and all the benefits the Chamber offers to join.  The new Grant program will have an application process where applicants can ask to have their membership dues reduced to $50. Our COVID Grant funds will cover the dues from accepted applications.  This program will have a limited application time frame, so act fast.

We encourage any small company negatively affected by COVID to apply as this is open to any Saline area small business, including current, past & potential members.  If you have not seen what the Chamber can offer you recently, please head over to our Member Benefits page and take a look around.  If you decide to apply, be sure to fill out the COVID Hardship Dues Grant application form.

Applications will be open from Monday, November 9, at 1pm - Monday, November 23, at 9am.  The office will review applications based on their need on a first-come, first-serve basis to distribute amongst the first ten qualified applicants.  For members who were granted a hardship in 2020, you can apply for the 2021 hardship COVID Grant.

The Chamber looks forward to working with businesses as they work through the current economic climate.  Stay tuned to our website & social media as the Chamber announces new initiatives to help area businesses of all sizes and needs.

A special thank you to our generous donors who have helped to make this program successful!
