Description
OPEN to the PUBLIC – A traditional Memorial Day observation will be held at Christ Our King Lutheran Church to honor and mourn members of the military who died while serving our country. • Address: 3255 Saline-Waterworks Road, Saline • Date: Saturday, May 29th, starting at 11am • Boxed lunch provided following the ceremony (hotdog, chips, water) • Ceremony will include patriotic music, speaker, a flag ceremony and a gun salute • There will be historic military vehicles on display • During the ceremony we will recognize and honor all veterans in attendance Please bring your own lawn chairs or picnic blankets for this outdoor event. In the event of rain, please check our website for updates at Christ-Our-King.org This event will be held outside following all COVID guidelines. We are asking all to be respectful by social distancing; masks are encouraged, but not required.
